This places Egypt in a special place on the “Belt and Road” map as well as the “Digital Silk Roads”.” Egypt lies exactly at the connection point most frequented by Data exchanged among different parts of the world. 95% of Internet Data traffic goes through submarine cables, and Egypt has the largest number of those cables that connect the old world’s three continents.
